Thanks for helping us put the brakes on the Anti-OHV Bill

The 2024 Legislative Session ended in late May...and not a minute too soon, as most of the ATV Trails across Minnesota were opening!

A top priority of ATV Minnesota and its 70 member clubs was to defeat an aggressive Anti-OHV bill disguised as an environmental bill.

And we were able to do just that, thanks to months of hard work by ATV Minnesota, its 70 ATV member clubs and riders across the state. Thanks to everyone who helped defeat House File 2791, by keeping on top of this issue and staying on the gas, contacting your legislators, and testifying at the March 26th House committee hearing.

HF 2791 would have destroyed the progress ATV, off-highway motorcycle (OHM) and off-road vehicle (ORV/4WD truck) clubs have made over the past 25 years.

Among the bill's restrictions: It would prohibit OHV trails from crossing a body of water on a bridge or a culvert...in a state with 15,000 lakes and 90,000 miles of rivers and streams!

It was a solution looking for a problem.
